Stuffed Tomatoes Ingredients:
Tomatoes 6 (large size should be red and firm)
Mince meat 1/2 kg
Ginger and garlic paste 1 tsp (each)
Red chili powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
Onion seeds (Kalonji)1/2 tsp
Fenugreek seeds (methi)8
Onion 1 large size (finely chopped)
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander 1 bunch (finely chopped)
Green chilies 4 (finely chopped)
Oil 3 cups
Stuffed Tomatoes Method:
Heat 2 tbs oil in a pan. Add mince meat and all the spices and cook on medium heat till the water dries. Stir for a few minutes. Remove from heat and leave to cool. Squeeze lemon juice on it. Now cut tomatoes 1/4 from the top leaving 3/4 for the stuffing. Remove all the pulp from the tomatoes.
Stuff each with mince meat,close each tomato carefully,either tie them with thread or seal both the sides.
Heat oil in a frying pan. Fry one tomato at a time. Place tomatoes in a pan and cook further on low heat for about 10 minutes.
